Yash Sharma
Community Outreach Manager
With six years of experience in queer storytelling, queer health advocacy, and digital engagement, Yash Sharma is the Founder and Director of Official Humans of Queer (OHOQ), a digital storytelling platform that has documented and amplified over 1,200 lived experiences of queer and trans* individuals across India.
Alongside storytelling, they create accessible digital content on sexual health, pleasure, and relationships, particularly for MSM (men who have sex with men) communities, making conversations around queer health more informed, relatable, and stigma-free.
Yash spent over five and a half years at Impulse New Delhi, contributing to HIV advocacy, community engagement, programme design, and sexual health initiatives for MSM communities.
Their work has been recognised through the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 (Social Impact, 2024) and The Diana Award (2024). Yash holds a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the Delhi School of Social Work.
At DDAF, they serve as a Community Outreach Consultant, working across all its verticals, both in the creative space and in community outreach.
Shams Tabrez
Digital Communications Associate
Shams Tabrez (he/they) is a queer Muslim writer, content creator, and chronic observer of people, culture, history, art, and the internet. Through his writing and digital work, he explores the intersections of identity, community, relationships, media, and the everyday experiences that shape our lives.
He is the founder of The Gay Muslim Space, a platform dedicated to conversations around queer and Muslim lives, social issues, and underrepresented narratives, with a particular focus on voices that are often left out of mainstream discourse. His work is driven by a simple belief: stories have the power to inform, challenge, connect, and occasionally make us feel a little less alone.
As a Digital Communications Associate with the Dwijen Dinanath Arts Foundation (DDAF), he works across all the verticals of the organization. These include the Rainbow Literature Festival – Queer & Inclusive, Rainbow Awards for Literature & Journalism, The Main Screen – Queer & Inclusive Film Club, and Art Is(t) Queer, helping shape their digital presence through content, storytelling, and community engagement.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Journalism and Digital Media and spends much of his time doomscrolling, designing, watching films, and occasionally café-hopping in Delhi.
